The only thing of interest in this room is yet another deceased body on the ground, with yet another datapad attached to it.
This will lead into a new room for you to explore. With your back facing the way you came in, head leftward through the door there. And that's just what we're going to do right now. Reading it will shed a little more light on just what's going on here, though to proceed, you're ultimately going to have to resolve to shut this VI down the hard way. To your right, as you enter this area, you should find another bloodied human body, with a PDA on her person. The doors to your left, right and on the far side of this room are all open, with two doors leading to an isolated room sealed shut by the rogue VI controlling this ship. This room has a series of five doors that must all be breached, though you should do so in a certain order.
The nearby door that was previously locked is now open, so head on through it, and then go through another door to reach a new area.
